These prices won’t get any lower: Adult Day  $50, Weekend $80; Senior/Youth Day $30, Weekend $40. (Handling charges and GST apply).

We receive over 400 submissions a year from artists around the world. Our Selections Committee considers every submission. We also consider recommendations made by other festival producers, audience members and artists. Programming decisions take into consideration the strength of an artist’s performance and material, the overall variety of the Festival’s artistic program and the artist’s ability to provide original workshop ideas.

How To Apply
If you would like to be considered for our festival, please send CD’s and minimal printed materials (bio, contact sheet, press clippings) before:

• January 15, 2012 for Southern performers; and
• March 4, 2012 for Northern performers (NWT, Nunavut and the Yukon).

If you do not have a press kit, you may use the Northern Application Form 2012.

Please do not consider an email link to your website as a submission. Submissions will only be accepted through the mail or online at SonicBids. Sonicbids will be open for submissions until January 15th, 2012.

Mail submissions from northern artists (north of 60) are accepted until March 4, 2012.

Application Follow-up
As the Festival is a non-profit organization run almost entirely by volunteers, we aim to keep administration costs to a minimum. We cannot write or telephone everyone to confirm receipt of submissions, but we will send you an email confirmation of receipt of your submission. Bookings are normally completed by late March. If you have not heard from us by then, you can assume that we were not able to include you in the line-up.
