Folk On The Rocks Strategic Planning Working Group

Building a great festival and organization takes a village and we’re excited that the folks who are leading our strategic planning process agree with us!

Folk On The Rocks is working with Ivy + Dean Consulting on a long-term festival strategy that supports the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, while also reflecting the voices of Northern communities, including those who are impacted by systemic barriers in the arts and at the festival.

Throughout the strategic planning activities, Ivy + Dean Consulting will engage with various stakeholders and community members about their festival experiences including artists, festival-goers, funders, partners, and sponsors of the festival. They're putting together a Strategic Planning Working Group, which will be responsible for guiding the process and the focus of the community consultations to ensure that people who attend the festival have their voices heard.

Ivy + Dean Consulting are looking for festival-goers to join their working group. If you’re interested in volunteering and serving on the Folk On The Rocks Strategic Planning Working Group, please visit: https://www.ivydean.ca/fotr.
